THE LIVELY BAR at THE LIVELY Fukuoka Hakata will introduce a summer limited menu starting Tuesday, June 2, 2026, running through Sunday, September 13, 2026. The menu is open to both hotel guests and non-staying visitors, and centers on seasonal Kyushu fruits as a way to offer a refreshing pause from the summer heat.

The Re:Boot Summer Campaign

The campaign concept, "The Re:Boot," frames the experience around three ideas:

  • Refresh – Cool down with chilled sweets and drinks
  • Reset – Step away from the noise of daily life and unwind in the hotel's calm atmosphere
  • Recharge – Uplift your mood through seasonal ingredients and the hotel's distinctive ambiance

The initiative is designed as an accessible, low-key summer escape — somewhere to drop in on an ordinary afternoon and leave feeling a little lighter.

"Furupakoori" — A Fruit × Parfait × Kakigori Hybrid

The highlight of the summer menu is the "Furupakoori" (フルパ氷) series — a dessert that merges fresh Kyushu fruit, layered parfait components, and shaved ice into a single creation. Each version is built up with fruit sauce, brown rice flakes, cream, jelly, vanilla ice cream, and fresh fruit, then crowned with a generous mound of finely shaved ice. A separate milk syrup — made with yogurt and condensed milk from Itoshima brand "Ito Monogatari" — is served on the side, adding a creamy, mildly tangy dimension that keeps the dessert interesting to the last spoonful.

The shaved ice uses blocks frozen slowly over 48 hours or more, resulting in high clarity and a smooth, delicate melt.

Higo Green × Kiwi

Higo Green × Kiwi Furupakoori

Starring the Kumamoto-grown melon variety "Higo Green," this edition pairs the melon's crisp texture and juicy sweetness with the bright tartness of kiwi. The composition includes kiwi sauce, brown rice flakes, melon cream, jelly, fresh melon and kiwi, vanilla ice cream, raw melon and kiwi syrup shaved ice, melon cream, melon candy, kiwi tuile, and a cherry.

Miyazaki Fully-Ripe Mango × Pineapple

Miyazaki Fully-Ripe Mango × Pineapple Furupakoori

Built around Miyazaki's "Miyazaki Fully-Ripe Mango," this version layers the mango's rich, melting sweetness and fragrant aroma with the fresh acidity of pineapple. Components include mango sauce, brown rice flakes, mango cream, jelly, fresh mango and pineapple, vanilla ice cream, raw mango and pineapple syrup shaved ice, mango cream, mango candy, and mango tuile.

Hikawa Hakuho × Strawberry

Hikawa Hakuho × Strawberry Furupakoori

Featuring "Hikawa Hakuho," a white peach variety from Fukuoka Prefecture, this dessert combines the peach's elegant sweetness with the bright tartness of strawberry. The build includes strawberry sauce, brown rice flakes, strawberry cream, jelly, fresh white peach, vanilla ice cream, raw white peach and strawberry syrup shaved ice, strawberry cream, strawberry candy, and strawberry tuile.

Fruit Lassi

Fruit Lassi from THE LIVELY BAR Fukuoka Hakata

A rich yet refreshing lassi made generously with "Ito Monogatari" yogurt from Itoshima, Fukuoka. Seasonal fruits are blended in to create a balance of fruity sweetness and mild tartness. A side sauce blending spices and herbs can be stirred in for a "Sweetscy" (sweet × spicy) twist that adds depth to each sip.

Homemade Juice & Craft Gin Mojito

Craft Gin Mojito cocktails at THE LIVELY BAR

A cocktail combining housemade juice — crafted from seasonal ingredients such as perilla, citrus, and mint — with "Jin40-ASAKURA CRAFT GIN," a craft gin made in Fukuoka. The gin's clean, clear character pairs naturally with summer fruits and herbs, making for a light and pleasant finish.
