TIAD, Autograph Collection (located at 5-15-19 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya) is extending its Strawberry Afternoon Tea beyond the originally announced end of March 2026, now running through Sunday, April 12, 2026.
The star of the afternoon tea is "Mai Ichigo" (舞苺), a premium brand strawberry grown at Ofu Minami Ichigo Farm in Aichi Prefecture. Mai Ichigo comes from the "Yotsuboshi" variety—a name that reflects its four defining qualities: sweetness, acidity, aroma, and flavor. This variety is known for its firm, springy texture and glossy appearance, and stands out for being deeply red all the way through to the center of the fruit. Only 1% of Yotsuboshi strawberries reach national distribution, making them exceptionally rare.
TIAD's chef visited numerous farms before discovering Ofu Minami Ichigo Farm, drawn in by their meticulous approach to soil, water, temperature management, and care for their strawberries. The afternoon tea uses only hand-picked Mai Ichigo strawberries selected each morning by the farm's owner.

Cherry Blossom Decoration (March 16–April 12, 2026, Scheduled)
During the afternoon tea extension period, TIAD's 5th-floor water basin terrace will also be decorated with cherry blossoms. The terrace is open to the public, and visitors can enjoy the cherry blossom display from the adjacent all-day dining terrace seating and bar counter as well—a perfect backdrop for drinks and meals.
