Universal Studios Japan is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a festival-packed summer season. Alongside the new night entertainment show "Universal Summer Matsuri Night Neon Glow Up" (running Wednesday, July 1 through Wednesday, August 26, 2026), the park is rolling out a full lineup of summer-exclusive food, drinks, and merchandise that put a playful USJ spin on traditional stall favorites.
Festival-Inspired Food & Goods for the Night Celebration
Classic street-festival staples get a park-exclusive makeover for the "Oh! Matsuri" summer food lineup. A lemon soda with a vivid goldfish floating inside—"夏祭りの金魚 レモンサイダー" (Summer Festival Goldfish Lemon Soda)—captures the excitement of a summer fair, while "超!! チョコバナナ・チュリトス" (Super!! Choco Banana Churitos) transforms the festival classic chocolate-covered banana into churro form.

Yakisoba—another festival staple—is reimagined as "カレーナン!? 焼きそばドッグ" (Curry Naan!? Yakisoba Dog), keeping the pickled ginger and mayo topping while wrapping it all in curry-flavored naan for an easy handheld bite.

Cool Down at the Park's Restaurants with Summer-Limited Menus
Between attractions, park restaurants are offering summer-exclusive options to help guests beat the heat. SAIDO, the park's only Japanese-style restaurant, is introducing a limited summer wagashi dessert inspired by hydrangea gardens—"紫陽花 ～葡萄と柚子の和氷菓 焼き菓子添え～" (Hydrangea – Grape & Yuzu Japanese Frozen Confection with Baked Sweets)—where grape syrup changes the dessert's color as it's poured.

The annual summer cool-down lineup is back with characters throughout the park. My Melody and Kuromi appear in new costumes on a "ソフローズン グレープ マイメロディ＆クロミ バケツ＆スプーン付き" (Soft Frozen Grape with My Melody & Kuromi Bucket & Spoon) treat, along with new "マイメロディ・ボトルストラップ アイスパック付き" (My Melody Bottle Strap with Ice Pack) and matching Kuromi version for staying cool while on the go.
