The "Shimaenaga Lunch Spring ~ Like Afternoon Tea ~" will be available for a limited time from March 1 to May 31, 2026.

Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo has established itself as the "Shimaenaga Hotel" through various initiatives featuring the adorable long-tailed tit, a bird native to Hokkaido. Previous projects have included concept rooms, gallery exhibitions of upcycled objects made from hotel materials, and SDGs workshops.
Since spring 2025, the hotel has been collaborating with "Boku, Shimaenaga.", which boasts a combined social media following of 850,000 people. This partnership brings special seasonal lunch menus that celebrate Hokkaido's changing seasons alongside the charming long-tailed tit.
This spring's theme centers on strawberries. The menu features seasonal strawberries and berries presented like jewels, with chef-created dishes that are as visually stunning as they are delicious, creating a heartwarming spring lunch experience.

A social media account operated by photographer Yanagisawa Go, dedicated to sharing the charm of the long-tailed tit. Captivated by this snow fairy found only in Hokkaido, Yanagisawa photographs long-tailed tits almost daily during winter. The account has amassed 850,000 total followers (as of February 2026). Yanagisawa also claims to be Japan's number one (self-proclaimed) collector of long-tailed tit merchandise.
