Wa-syu, the Japanese wine select shop run by Jun Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Susumu Sasaki), is heading back to Isetan Shinjuku Store's "World Wine Tour" exhibition, running from Tuesday, July 14 to Monday, July 20 (national holiday), 2026.
The wa-syu booth has exhibited every year since 2022, inviting winemakers from wineries across Japan as guests and helping to liven up the Japanese wine corner of the "World Wine Tour." For 2026, wa-syu's regularly held "Kakuuchi Nihon Wine" — a casual standing-bar wine tasting format — will be recreated at the Bar Corner. Over the course of the event, nine special guest winemakers will appear on a rotating daily schedule, letting visitors hear directly from the producers while casually enjoying wa-syu's selected Japanese wines and winery collaboration wines (purchases are also available). This time, the booth also features an event-exclusive menu created by Kyoku (曲), an inari sushi specialty shop in Kitakamakura, Kanagawa. Each order is finished on the spot, one piece at a time, by Kyoku's craftsperson after being placed. Enjoy this new style of pairing, born from a pursuit of harmony between inari sushi and Japanese wine.
