The Westin Tokyo, the urban wellness hotel in Meguro, Tokyo (General Manager: Charles Jack), is offering a lineup of sweets built around autumn's rich flavors at its first-floor pastry boutique, Patisserie by The Westin Tokyo, from Tuesday, September 1 to Monday, November 30, 2026.
The lineup includes three new pastry chef creations built around fig, nuts, and hojicha, alongside three Mont Blanc desserts that each highlight the distinct character of Kumamoto's Japanese chestnut and French marron. In total, six sweets bring a festive touch of color to autumn.
New Autumn Sweets from the Pastry Chef
Hojicha Karesansui Tiramisu — ¥920 (New)
A tiramisu with Japanese flair, inspired by the dry rock gardens (karesansui) of Japanese gardens. Biscuit soaked in hojicha syrup is layered with fig, black beans, and almond, then topped with a tiramisu built around the toasty aroma of roasted hojicha. A finishing touch of chocolate crunch and crumble evokes the raked sand patterns of a karesansui garden.

Marjolaine — ¥920 (New)
An almond-based cake baked with sautéed apple and tart-sweet cassis alongside a crumble for textural contrast. It's topped with a refreshing fromage blanc cream and walnuts, almonds, and pistachios — a baked treat with autumn's colors and nutty aroma.

Classic Butter Cream Cake — ¥820 (New)
A light, smooth-melting butter cream made with specially prepared fresh butter, paired with an almond pound cake packed with dried fruit and apricot jam. The rich aroma of quality butter and the fresh tartness of the fruit combine for a classic flavor that's both nostalgic and refined.

Three Takes on Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc-Style Vanilla Cream — ¥1,100 (New)
A Mont Blanc-style dessert layering vanilla cream with a hint of rum and marron cream. The vanilla's gentle aroma harmonizes with the chestnut's rich flavor for a refined, light-melting dessert, with chestnut and crumble adding textural accents.

Mont Blanc Choux Cream — ¥1,300
This limited-time special combines Patisserie by The Westin Tokyo's ever-popular choux cream with its equally popular Mont Blanc. Choux pastry filled with smooth crème diplomate is generously paired with a lightly sweetened Kumamoto chestnut cream, finished with caramelized almonds for a fragrant sweetness and textural accent.

Special Mont Blanc (year-round) — ¥1,100
Sponge cake soaked in rum syrup is layered with a mildly custard-scented crème diplomate and chestnut, then topped with a light crème chantilly and a generous piping of Kumamoto chestnut cream. Though a simple, standard Mont Blanc, it reflects the chef's dedication — the balance of ingredients refined through repeated testing. From its light sweetness to the airy way the cream is piped, it's a Mont Blanc pursued to the fullest to let the charm of Japanese chestnut shine.
