Dinosaurs Take Over Minato Mirai — Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel's Buffet Gets a Dinosaur Zone

Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel (Minato Mirai 1-1-1, Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa) is introducing a Dinosaur Zone within the ongoing "Hawaii & Oceania" buffet at its first-floor restaurant, Ocean Terrace. The zone will run from July 17 (Friday) through September 6 (Sunday), 2026.

This summer, dinosaurs are coming to the Minato Mirai waterfront district. Adjacent to the hotel, Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall is hosting "Yokohama Dinosaur Exhibition 2026: The Big Encyclopedia of Dinosaur Diets" (ヨコハマ恐竜展2026~恐竜の食卓大図鑑~) from July 17 to September 6, exploring the eating habits of dinosaurs through specimens and fossil teeth. Running concurrently from July 17 through August 23 (Sunday), the stamp rally and area-wide event "Minato Mirai Dinosaur Rally" (みなとみらいダイナソーラリー) will take place across the Minato Mirai district, with life-sized moving dinosaurs appearing throughout the neighborhood.

With the neighborhood coming alive with these events, Ocean Terrace is joining in by offering a dedicated Dinosaur Zone inside the Hawaii & Oceania buffet, featuring five dinosaur-themed dishes for guests of all ages.
