Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, in Yurakucho, Chiyoda Ward, opens its new "Tokyo Midtown Hibiya Hall" on September 1, 2026, and marks the occasion with the venue's first exhibition: "HUMAN AND NATURE" by contemporary artist Yuichi Hirako, whose work draws attention both in Japan and abroad. Comment from Yuichi Hirako
An unfamiliar presence that has quietly slipped into the city and into the park invites us to reconsider how we usually relate to nature. As you walk through the city and visit both works, I hope the streetscape you thought you knew will come to look just slightly different than before.
