The Biwako Marriott Hotel in Moriyama City, Shiga Prefecture, will be offering a seasonal dessert parfait called "Cha no Sansai Parfait" at its 12th-floor restaurant, "Grill & Dining G," from May 1 through June 30, 2026.

The parfait draws on three distinctive teas from Shiga Prefecture — a region known as one of the birthplaces of Japanese tea. Each tea is expressed in a different form: matcha is crafted into a rich ice cream and cream, hojicha lends its roasted fragrance to a light meringue, and green tea appears as a clear, refreshing jelly. The layered presentation creates a visual rhythm in the glass while delivering a subtly shifting blend of aromas and flavors in every bite. The overall sweetness is kept moderate, making it a comfortable choice for an early summer afternoon.
