Hilton Takayama Resort is set to open on September 14, 2026, in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. As the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand property in the prefecture, the hotel will offer a total of 283 rooms, including 35㎡ guest rooms, 46㎡ deluxe rooms, and five suite-category rooms.
At launch, operations will begin with approximately 90 rooms. The number of available rooms will increase as renovation work progresses, with all 283 rooms expected to be accessible by spring 2027. Reservations made prior to that time will be limited to the rooms available at that stage.
Rooms
Room options range from 35㎡ standard guest rooms — available in king, twin, and Japanese-style configurations — to 46㎡ deluxe rooms in king, twin, triple, and Japanese-Western styles. Executive rooms and accessible twin rooms are also available.
Five suite-category rooms round out the lineup: a 70㎡ Japanese Suite, two 70㎡ Deluxe Suites, and two 90㎡ Premium Suites.
Facilities
The hotel features a dedicated Executive Lounge available to Hilton Honors Diamond members and guests staying in Executive Rooms or Suite rooms.
A newly built Fitness Center is also among the amenities. Additional facilities include a restaurant, banquet hall, an onsen wing with indoor and outdoor baths, and a shop.
