New Yakiimo Festival "Hokuhoku! Yakiimo Matsuri NAGOYA" Debuts at Hisaya-odori Park in January 2027

A new yakiimo (baked sweet potato) festival is coming to Nagoya. "Hokuhoku! Yakiimo Matsuri NAGOYA," a three-day event dedicated entirely to satsuma-imo, holds its first edition at Hisaya-odori Park's Angel Hiroba from January 9 to 11, 2027. Yakiimo lovers, sweets fans, and anyone who likes cute things can look forward to a Nagoya-born gathering where visitors of all generations can smile over a warm baked sweet potato.

Hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (until 5:00 PM on the final day)

Venue: Angel Hiroba (エンゼル広場), Hisaya-odori Park (3-15 Sakae, Naka-ku, Nagoya)

Access: Right outside Exit 6 of Yabacho Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway. No dedicated parking is available; visitors arriving by car should use a nearby paid parking lot.
