The 2F café restaurant "Le Temps" at Hotel Granvia Kyoto will offer a limited-time dessert called the "Whole Peach and Kyoto Honey Parfait" from July 1 (Wed) to August 31 (Mon), 2026.
The parfait combines juicy peaches with local Kyoto ingredients — including wildflower honey from Kyoto Higuchi Apiary and Kyoto-produced milk — for a seasonal treat crafted by the hotel's pastry chef.
About the Whole Peach and Kyoto Honey Parfait

The honey used in this parfait is wildflower honey harvested at Kyoto Higuchi Apiary. Unlike single-origin honeys, wildflower honey is gathered from a variety of flowers blooming near the apiary. The flavor varies depending on the season and location of harvest, giving each batch a distinctive character.
The parfait is topped with an entire peach coated in wildflower honey and garnished with a touch of Japanese pepper (sansho). Inside the peach, a milk ice cream is tucked away. Once you've savored the peach on its own, eating it together with the milk ice cream lets the mild creaminess bring out the natural freshness of the fruit. A side serving of raspberry sauce is also provided — the tartness of the raspberries draws out both the juiciness of the peach and the sweetness of the milk ice cream.
In the glass, a fromage blanc panna cotta is poured, made with Kyoto milk, wildflower honey, and fresh cream for added richness. Above the panna cotta sits a honey-and-lemon jelly layered with sliced peaches, designed to offer a refreshing feel on hot summer days. Thinly sliced peaches are also arranged along the inside of the glass for a visually elegant presentation.
At the center of the parfait is a shiso (perilla) granita — the shaved icy texture paired with the herbal aroma of shiso creates a cooling sensation that complements the peach beautifully. Crunchy crumble and vanilla ice cream with a rich fragrance round out the dessert, making each bite a different experience.
