Iki Retreat Kairi Murakami by Onko Chishin, a five-star ryokan located in Iki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, has launched a limited-time "Terrace Dining Plan" for spring 2026.
The plan will be available from April 1 (Wednesday) to June 15 (Monday), 2026, exclusively for guests staying in the Kairi Suite and Junior Suite rooms.

Spring Sunsets Over Yumoto Bay
The sunset views from Iki Retreat Kairi Murakami overlook Yumoto Bay, a location recognized as one of Japan's Top 100 Sunsets. The gentle descent of the sun toward the horizon, reflected across the calm waters of the bay, represents one of Iki Island's most distinctive natural attractions.
From April through June, the sun sets directly ahead, offering the perfect opportunity to fully appreciate this seasonal transformation. The plan is designed to enhance the premium suite experience by creating a seamless flow from quiet in-room relaxation to private outdoor dining on the terrace, all centered around the evening sunset.
About the Terrace Dining Plan
This plan features a kaiseki course meal prepared with Iki beef, seasonal seafood, and fresh spring vegetables from Iki Island. The distinctive feature is that the chef-supervised kaiseki course is served outdoors, with dishes finished over charcoal on the garden terrace.
A dedicated staff member handles all preparation, cooking, and cleanup, allowing guests to relax completely.
Guests can enjoy the evolving sunset while savoring their meal as part of the retreat experience.

- All fire management is handled by staff
