Ito Ryokuyuu Opens New Private Dining Rooms with Onsen-Steamed Kaiseki Cuisine

Ito Ryokuyuu (Location: Hirono, Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture; General Manager: Shinichi Sasago), a ryokan where all guest rooms feature open-air baths, has begun serving dinner at newly established private dining rooms called "Fuji." To commemorate the opening, the ryokan is accepting reservations starting February 5, 2026 (Thursday) for a commemorative stay plan called "Spring's Beginning" that includes the ryokan's specialty onsen-steamed kaiseki cuisine designed to showcase the best of the private dining experience.

Ito Onsen boasts one of Japan's most abundant hot spring volumes. Ito Ryokuyuu's hot spring is one of the rare drinkable hot springs among Ito's 800+ sources, known as a "beauty bath." The ryokan allows guests to enjoy this signature hot spring in garden open-air baths located within each guest room.

To improve guest comfort during their stay, the ryokan has newly established the private dining room "Fuji" where guests can enjoy the ryokan's signature cuisine while maintaining a sense of privacy. Service for both dinner and breakfast has now begun in these rooms.

The special onsen-steamed kaiseki course available with this plan is a luxurious dish unique to the ryokan, featuring ingredients whose flavors are concentrated through steaming with hot spring steam. This cuisine truly embodies the concept of hot springs that are "good to drink" and "good to eat." Each table in the private dining rooms is equipped with built-in IH cooktops, allowing guests to experience freshly made "onsen-steamed" dishes.

From mid-February onward, "Kawazu Cherry Blossoms" will bring spring to the Izu region. Why not experience "Spring's Beginning" at Ito Ryokuyuu, with its early spring atmosphere and all-encompassing hot spring delights?
