Phoenix Seagaia Resort (Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture) is rolling out a range of summer gourmet and entertainment options during the 2026 summer holiday season, catering to guests of all ages.
Dinosaur Summer Buffet
A special "Dinosaur Summer Buffet" runs at a dedicated venue inside the Seagaia Convention Center. The menu takes its inspiration from the age of dinosaurs, with playful dishes like "Dinosaur Forest Roast Beef" presented with a volcano motif, lava-red mapo tofu, and dinosaur-shaped soy-marinated eggs. The sweets and bakery section adds to the fun with volcanic canelés, magma shaved ice, and dinosaur footprint bread. The venue also features a T. rex photo booth where guests can pose inside the dinosaur's open mouth.

Summer Festival Dinner Buffet: Meat and Festival Sweets
Garden buffet restaurant Pine Terrace hosts a summer festival-themed dinner buffet running from August through September. The meat course features Miyazaki beef roast beef — the restaurant's signature — alongside lamb kebab, a Miyazaki beef and pork hamburger skewer, spicy spare ribs, and charcoal-grilled chicken.
The "festival stall corner" brings a street-food atmosphere with takoyaki, yakisoba, and bone-in sausage. The corner also serves novelty sweets designed to delight adults and children alike — cream puffs shaped like takoyaki, a Mont Blanc styled to look like yakisoba, and beer-glass gelatin.

Garden Poolside "Pool Bar"
The poolside bar at THE LIVING GARDEN serves a summer-only food and drink menu. Options include smoked tea duck leg, loco moco rice, curry bread, and burritos for a satisfying meal, as well as lighter bites like potato fries and ice cream, alongside a selection of beverages.

Pine Terrace Summer Takeout
Pine Terrace also offers a summer takeout menu at the restaurant entrance. The lineup includes chunky beef curry, mini pizzas in two varieties (tomato & cheese, or teriyaki chicken), stone-oven margherita pizza, a chicken basket, churros, mango lassi, and pine soda mocktail.

More Summer Activities
In addition to the food experiences, the resort has a full summer entertainment program.
Nightly fireworks are scheduled throughout the summer vacation period, from July 18 (Sat) through August 31 (Mon).
A new Splash Area opens at the garden pool on July 18 (Sat), offering a variety of water play options for all ages.
On rainy or extremely hot days, the indoor park KIDS OASIS provides large play equipment and a Tarzan rope, so families can enjoy themselves regardless of the weather.
