Oyatsu Company Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Tsu, Mie Prefecture) is marking August 2 "Baby Star Day" — a date chosen because "0-8-2" reads like "o-ya-tsu" (snack) — with a year of collaborations that cross industries, genres, and generations, all centered on the fun of snack time.

For the fifth installment of the project, Baby Star is partnering with Ganso Manshu Nira Ramen Sakaeya Honten, a ramen shop cherished as local soul food in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture. From Thursday, July 30 to Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the shop will serve a limited-time special ramen called ベビにら, topped with Baby Star noodles. Everyone who orders it during the period will also receive a free pack of Baby Star Ramen.

A Special Ramen to Mark August 2 "Baby Star Day"

Baby Star is tasty enough to eat straight from the bag, but it also works as a versatile ingredient that can be added to everyday dishes for a boost of savory chicken flavor and crunch.

That idea comes together in this collaboration with Ganso Manshu Nira Ramen Sakaeya Honten, the ramen shop cherished as local soul food in Hanamaki, Iwate.

To mark August 2 "Baby Star Day," the shop is serving ベビにら, a special ramen topped with Baby Star noodles, for a limited time from July 30 (Thu) to August 5 (Wed), 2026. Everyone who orders the dish will also receive a pack of Baby Star Ramen.

It's a hearty option worth trying as a way to power through the summer heat.

Background: The 「さぁ、おやつの時間だ!」 Campaign

Baby Star was born in 1959 out of the offbeat idea of eating ramen noodles just as they are, and it has kept bringing playful surprises to fans ever since with product ideas that don't stick to convention.

Since the Baby Star character changed in 2017, the brand has focused not only on fun products but also on shared experiences built around them.

Amid the rush of daily life, snack time offers a small, mood-lifting break that's about more than just refueling. With that in mind, Baby Star plans to keep sharing news about events and limited-edition products designed to make those moments a little more special.
