Sapporo Park Hotel Launches New "Double Cheesecake Honey Lemon" Starting April 1, 2026

Sapporo Park Hotel, situated within the lush surroundings of Nakajima Park in Sapporo, is set to release a new original sweet called "Double Cheesecake Honey Lemon" starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The new creation is part of the hotel's ongoing efforts to express gratitude ahead of its planned closure in February 2027. The "Double Cheesecake Honey Lemon" blends sustainability with local resources — using rare honey collected from bees around the Nakajima Park area, paired with the rich depth of cheese and the refreshing tartness of lemon.

The honey comes from the hotel's "urban beekeeping" initiative, conducted on the hotel's rooftop. Drawing on experience gained from their own farm "GranVista Farm Sapporo," which opened in 2014, the hotel recognized the important role honeybees play in pollination and the sustainable production of food. The hotel has since maintained rooftop beehives with careful attention to safety.
