Sapporo Prince Hotel (Minami 2-jo Nishi 11-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido) is launching a sky-high afternoon tea called "Soukei" (蒼景) at the "Sky Lounge Top of Prince" on the 28th floor. Themed around Hokkaido's iconic blue scenery, the experience will be available from July 1 (Wednesday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026.
Hokkaido is home to some of Japan's most captivating blue landscapes — from the Blue Pond in Biei and the cobalt waters of Shakotan to the crystalline surface of Lake Mashu. This afternoon tea translates those iconic scenes into a curated menu of sweets and savories, alongside Hokkaido's seasonal flavors including haskap berries and lavender.

The top tier of the three-tier stand features four sweets with striking blue gradients, evoking the colors of the sea and lakes. The middle tier brings three refreshing sweets made with Hokkaido ingredients, and the bottom tier offers savories including canapés. A non-alcoholic cocktail in vivid blue-green is served as a welcome aperitif, completing a teatime that engages all five senses against a panoramic view of Sapporo from 28 floors up.
