Shangri-La Tokyo is set to offer a special Easter sweets collection at The Boutique by Shangri-La, running from March 15 (Sunday) through the Easter holiday on April 5, 2026.

This year's lineup blends the themes of "rebirth" and "hope" associated with Easter with Japanese cultural motifs and seasonal designs. Four items are available, with chocolate creations — the "Easter Bunny" and "Easter Egg" — taking center stage alongside Japanese-inspired baked goods.

Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny chocolate piece is adorned with cherry blossoms and a traditional Japanese mizuhiki cord in the "awaji musubi" (eternal knot) style, symbolizing connection and good wishes for the season. Nestled inside is konpeito (star-shaped sugar candy) in a strawberry flavor, crafted by Rokujuan Shimizu — Japan's only konpeito specialty shop, founded in 1847 — using a careful process taking more than 14 days.

The Easter Egg chocolate is decorated with "seigaiha" (blue ocean wave), a traditional Japanese auspicious pattern expressing a wish for lasting peace. Inside is a vanilla-flavored konpeito, also made by Rokujuan Shimizu using the same meticulous craft.
