Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka Launches Summer Sweets & Bread Lineup for 2026

Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka (6-1-55 Uehonmachi, Tennoji-ku, Osaka) is rolling out its seasonal "Summer Sweets & Bread" collection at Café Belle from July 1 (Wednesday) through August 31 (Monday), 2026. The lineup features glass desserts bursting with mango, peach, and other summer fruits alongside spiced savory breads designed to keep appetites lively during the heat.

This year brings five new items to the menu, including a "Muscat Verrine" that captures the fresh sweetness of green grapes and a bread filled with Aloo Jeera — a Nepalese home-cooked dish of pan-fried potatoes and cumin.

Available period: July 1 (Wed) – August 31 (Mon), 2026

Hours: Sweets 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM / Bread 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Sweets

Mango Pudding — ¥800

A triple-layered glass dessert of mango jelly, coconut mousse, and mango mousse, topped with mango and pineapple and finished with a passion fruit sauce. The rich sweetness of mango blends with the aroma of coconut, while passion fruit adds a refreshing acidity for a tropical finish.

Mango Short — ¥850

Slices of mango and mango-flavored whipped cream sandwiched between layers of light genoise sponge. A perennial favorite, it delivers the meltingly soft texture and concentrated sweetness of ripe mango in every bite.

Orange Verrine — ¥850

A glass dessert that harmonizes the bright acidity of orange, the gentle sweetness of honey, and the richness of cream. Brioche soaked in orange juice syrup is layered with honey-marinated orange, mascarpone cream, and diplomat cream (a blend of custard and whipped cream), then topped with fresh orange.

Peach Verrine — ¥900

Earl Grey panna cotta layered with peach compote and lemon jelly for a cooling, refreshing effect. The juicy peach and the refined fragrance of black tea make for an elegant summer dessert.

Muscat Verrine — ¥900 (new this year)

Three layers of muscat mousse, rare cheesecake, and cardamom-flavored jelly create a visually cool glass dessert. The creamy depth of rare cheese balances perfectly with the delicate, refined sweetness of muscat.

Tarte Ananas — ¥900

A golden tart shell filled with pineapple-flavored custard cream and pineapple compote, topped with mint jelly and lime cream. The tropical sweetness of pineapple meets the refreshing coolness of mint and lime — a perfect summer treat.

Bread

Mango Cream Bread — ¥350

Soft bread dough stuffed generously with mango cream and baked with a topping of almond crumble and desiccated coconut. The rich mango sweetness and the satisfying crunch of nuts bring a taste of the tropics.

Corn & Edamame Focaccia — ¥350

Chewy focaccia dough folded with corn and edamame, then baked around a filling of cheese. The natural sweetness of corn, the bite of edamame, and the saltiness of melted cheese come together in a savory bread that pairs well with lunch or a cold beer.

Aloo Jeera — ¥370 (new this year)

Aloo Jeera — a Nepalese home-style dish of potatoes pan-fried with cumin — is wrapped inside a round bread. The exotic fragrance of cumin and the fluffy texture of potato make this spiced savory bread an addictive summer choice.
