"It might be Shinsuke Yoshitake's exhibition" (ヨシタケシンスケ展かもしれない), the first large-scale exhibition of picture book author Shinsuke Yoshitake (ヨシタケシンスケ), will be held in Hokkaido at Sapporo Art Park Museum (札幌芸術の森美術館) from Saturday, April 17 to Sunday, June 13, 2027. About the Exhibition

Since its tour began in 2022, the exhibition has drawn strong responses across Japan and has reached a cumulative total of 1 million visitors.

With a fine pen tip, Yoshitake continues to draw the endless daydreams and ideas that spread inside his head, people's amusing quirks and gestures, and ways of seeing things that get at the truth of the world. He was active as an illustrator and sculptural artist even before he began publishing picture books.

The exhibition shows more than 400 items, including the small sketches that are the source of his ideas, original picture book artwork, three-dimensional pieces created for this exhibition, and his treasured collection. Visitors can take a look inside the artist's head and experience the "maybe" (かもしれない) exhibition space supported by his rich imagination.
