The Lobby Lounge "The Lounge" at Westin Hotel Tokyo in Ebisu, Meguro, will offer two distinct matcha afternoon tea experiences from May 1 to June 30, 2026. The menus differ between weekdays and weekends, each showcasing matcha sweets and savories inspired by the fresh greenery of early summer.
Matcha Afternoon Tea (Weekends & Public Holidays)
On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, The Lounge serves the "Matcha Afternoon Tea." The open lobby lounge, framed by marble columns and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Westin Garden, forms a relaxed backdrop for the experience.
Eight matcha desserts are on offer, including "Red Berry and Matcha Glass," which pairs the tangy sweetness of berries with the slight bitterness of matcha; "Matcha and Coconut Tartlet," layered with matcha white chocolate ganache, light coconut sweetness, and lime acidity; and "Matcha and Almond Milk Blancmange," a smooth dessert accented by the gentle tartness of apricot. The savory selections feature items such as "Smoked Salmon Tartare with Sour Cream and Capers," "Chilled Soba with Grapefruit and Olive Oil–Flavored Soba Jelly," and "Matcha Bread Sandwich with Egg and Shrimp."
Two varieties of freshly baked scones — made with yogurt and buttermilk — are served alongside original clotted cream. A free-flow drinks selection of 16 options is available, including 8 TWG teas served by the pot, lemon squash, and peach apple.
