Opening November 16, 2026 (Monday)
A new branch of Zaiton, "Hakata Jidori Shoyu Ramen & Abura Soba Zaiton Hakata Bus Terminal Branch," will hold its grand opening on Monday, November 16, 2026, on the first floor of Hakata Bus Terminal in Fukuoka. The shop is operated by 56 Foods Corporation, headquartered in Fukuoka City, and takes over the former site of Teppanyaki Tenjin Horumon Hakata Bus Terminal Branch, in the same row as 極みや.

Zaiton Kashii main branch
Zaiton: 16 Years of Ramen
Zaiton is a ramen shop that has been in business for a total of 16 years, five years in Nagoya and 11 years in Kashii. The Kashii main branch is still open today, popular with many customers and even visited by well-known figures, and it has become a well-loved local shop.
With the new branch at Hakata Bus Terminal alongside the Kashii main branch, Zaiton's flavors will be available not only to local customers but also to more people, including tourists visiting Fukuoka and business travelers.
Hakata Jidori Chicken and Chicken Fat (Chi-yu)
Zaiton's ramen is characterized by broth made from Hakata jidori chicken and chicken fat (chi-yu). Tonkotsu ramen is the standard in Fukuoka, but Zaiton deliberately uses a soy sauce base to bring out the umami of Hakata jidori chicken and the aroma of the chicken fat.
The shop offers it as a new option for Hakata ramen, beyond the idea that "Hakata ramen = tonkotsu," and aims to share more of the appeal of Fukuoka's food culture. As a result, the Hakata Jidori Shoyu Ramen can also be enjoyed by people who cannot eat tonkotsu ramen for religious reasons.

A New Challenge for 56 Foods Corporation
Under the motto "Making people HAPPY through food!", 56 Foods Corporation runs restaurants including Teppanyaki Tenjin Horumon. The Zaiton Hakata Bus Terminal Branch is a new challenge that draws on the restaurant-operating experience the company has built up so far. By adding new value to ramen, one of Fukuoka's signature foods, the shop aims to share even more of the appeal of Fukuoka's food.

Customers are said to be getting hooked on the mackerel soupless tantanmen.
