The Coca-Cola system's green tea brand Ayataka is announcing four new and renewed products for spring 2026, to be rolled out sequentially. The Ayataka brand, led by core products such as "Ayataka" and "Ayataka Koi Ryokucha" (Concentrated Green Tea), has continued to grow and recorded its highest-ever sales volume in 2025.
This spring, four products are set to launch. A functional food product called "Ayataka Koi Hojicha" (Concentrated Roasted Green Tea) — containing GABA, which is reported to help reduce temporary stress and fatigue — will be released on Monday, April 6. Additionally, "Ayataka Mineral Ryokucha" (Mineral Green Tea), the first-ever mineral-infused green tea in Ayataka's history, will launch on Monday, May 18. From the Ayataka Cafe series, "Ayataka Cafe Koi Matcha Latte" (Concentrated Matcha Latte) is getting a packaging refresh starting Monday, March 16, while "Ayataka Cafe Honnori Amai Matcha Green Tea" (Mildly Sweet Matcha Green Tea) will be newly released from Monday, April 20.
Ayataka Koi Hojicha: A Functional Food with GABA Launching April 6
"Ayataka Koi Hojicha" is a functional food containing GABA, a functional ingredient reported to help reduce temporary stress and fatigue caused by work or study. The amount of hojicha leaves used has been increased by 1.5 times compared to "Ayataka Kuromame Hojicha" (Black Bean Hojicha), delivering a rich, full-bodied flavor with a pleasant roasted aroma. "Ayataka Mineral Ryokucha" is the first mineral-infused green tea in Ayataka's history. Developed in cooperation with Kanbayashi Shunsho Honten, a long-established Uji, Kyoto tea shop with 450 years of history, the drink achieves a clean, refreshing taste that draws out the natural umami of green tea while keeping bitterness and astringency in check. The product is designed with reduced caffeine, making it suitable for hydration throughout the day regardless of the time.
The minerals in this product refer to sodium, phosphorus, and manganese. Compared to Japanese Food Standard Composition Table (8th edition) sencha (extract).

The Ayataka Cafe series has been popular for making it easy to enjoy authentic matcha flavors, particularly among younger consumers.
"Ayataka Cafe Koi Matcha Latte" retains its quality made with 100% domestic matcha, but features new packaging designs by Hinano, an illustrator popular among younger generations. Two packaging designs depicting an afternoon snack time are being released — when placed side by side, they appear to face each other, creating a playful visual gimmick.
The newly launching "Ayataka Cafe Honnori Amai Matcha Green Tea" is crafted to highlight the aroma and umami of matcha while offering a gentle sweetness for a light, refreshing drinking experience.
