A new spring drink lineup is arriving at BECK'S COFFEE SHOP starting March 10, 2026. The series features three "Kyoto Uji Matcha Latte" variations, all made with matcha sourced from Marukyu Koyamaen, a venerable Kyoto tea house that has been in business since the Genroku era.
Matcha from a Long-Established Kyoto Tea House
The matcha used in this lineup comes from Marukyu Koyamaen, a renowned tea producer based in Kyoto. Combining this traditional matcha with milk creates a smooth, gentle texture — the rich aroma and deep umami of the matcha complementing the sweetness of the milk for a calming, indulgent drink.
Three Varieties to Choose From
Matcha Latte – from ¥550 (tax included)
A matcha latte using Marukyu Koyamaen matcha, with the tea's rich aroma and deep flavor blending into the milk for a satisfying cup. This is the classic option in the spring lineup.
Cream Matcha Latte – ¥600 (tax included)
This version tops the matcha latte with silky espuma whipped cream and a dusting of matcha powder. The added creaminess highlights the matcha flavor for a richer drinking experience.
Kuromitsu Matcha Latte – from ¥650 (tax included)
The matcha latte is topped with black sugar syrup (kuromitsu) and espuma whipped cream, resulting in a richer, more layered drink. The depth and sweetness of the kuromitsu add complexity to the overall flavor.

Club House Sandwich – Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese – ¥680 (tax included)
Smoked salmon is paired with dill-infused cream cheese, white balsamic-marinated onions, and frill lettuce for a colorful, satisfying sandwich with a fresh springtime flavor. Available March 10, 2026 through early June 2026 (scheduled).
Vegetable and Chicken Tomato Curry – ¥850 (tax included)
A hearty tomato curry loaded with zucchini, eggplant, red and yellow bell peppers, and chicken. One serving provides approximately 175g of vegetables, equivalent to about half the daily intake of 350g recommended by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Healthy Japan 21" guidelines. Available March 10, 2026 through late September 2026 (scheduled).
