Starting April 1, 2026, the 7th-floor all-day dining venue "THE 7th TERRACE" at The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Nagoya (Naka Ward, Nagoya) will introduce a refreshed breakfast buffet. The new lineup weaves together iconic Nagoya foods with hotel-crafted twists, giving guests a mini culinary tour of the region first thing in the morning.
A Breakfast Buffet Full of Nagoya Gourmet
The buffet features beloved local dishes that represent Nagoya's food culture. Kishimen — flat wheat noodles in a delicate dashi broth — and hitsumabushi — grilled eel that can be enjoyed as-is, mixed with condiments, or finished with dashi poured over the rice — join the spread alongside other regional favorites.

"THE 7th TERRACE" also adds its own interpretations. The Hatcho Miso Curry blends spiced curry with Hatcho miso and butter, resulting in a rich, mellow depth of flavor. Another highlight is the "7th TERRACE Original Tenmusu" — shrimp tempura marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, topped with perilla leaf, and grilled with Hoba miso. The lingering aroma of miso makes this a dish you can only find here.

Egg dishes prepared at the live kitchen are served with a choice of four sauces: a rich Hatcho miso sauce, a mild Taiwanese minced meat sauce, demi-glace, or ketchup — each adding a local flair to a breakfast staple.
Sustainable Touches at the Table
The buffet also includes smoothies made from vegetables that don't meet standard market requirements, turning produce that would otherwise go to waste into a healthy morning drink. A newly introduced Rainforest Alliance-certified coffee is ground fresh in the restaurant every morning, delivering a smooth, fragrant cup to round out the meal.
