Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima's buffet restaurant "Bridge" on the lobby floor (L) is hosting a "Sweets Buffet with Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream" on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from June to August 2026.
The buffet offers more than 30 menu items, including special desserts made with Häagen-Dazs ice cream alongside a variety of sweets and light bites. A pastry chef plates special desserts in front of guests, with five flavors to choose from: Vanilla, Milk Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, and Green Tea.
June Theme: Matcha
June centers on a "matcha" theme, featuring desserts made with fragrant matcha from Nishio Seicha, a long-established tea merchant in Kagoshima Prefecture. The tea leaves are selected with care, and the processing brings out a richly aromatic flavor the brand is known for.
Menus blend Japanese and Western elements with seasonal ingredients, capturing the refreshing aroma, gentle bitterness, and elegant sweetness that make matcha a natural fit for the early summer season.
Special Desserts Prepared Tableside
A pastry chef prepares fresh special desserts in front of guests using Häagen-Dazs ice cream, with a choice of five flavors: Vanilla, Milk Chocolate, Cookies & Cream, Strawberry, and Green Tea. In June, three matcha-themed desserts take the spotlight.
Matcha & Madagascar Vanilla Parfait

A layered parfait combining the gentle bitterness of aromatic matcha with the rich sweetness of Madagascar vanilla. Presented with Häagen-Dazs ice cream, each layer offers a different flavor and texture, making it as visually striking as it is delicious.
Matcha Affogato

The rich umami and pleasant bitterness of matcha bring out the depth of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Accompanied by a lightly baked matcha chiffon cake, custard, and matcha butter sable, the dessert also provides a pleasing contrast of textures.
Matcha Vacherin

Matcha mousse is layered inside light meringue and finished with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The refreshing acidity of tropical fruits and the gentle texture of green tea jelly add a cool, early-summer accent.
Welcome Sweets at the Table

Five original welcome sweets crafted by Executive Pastry Chef Arata Nakagawa are served at the table as an exclusive part of the buffet experience.
Menu:
- Matcha Chocolate
- Basque Cheese Orange
- White Chocolate Pearl Croquant
- Pistachio Dacquoise
- Matcha Peach Sable
Free-Range Eggs for a Sustainable Sweets Experience
