The macaron shell has an outer texture described as a cross between a cookie and a marshmallow, while the inside evokes the feel of monaka (wafer) or caramel. Once it melts on the tongue, the shell blends with the ganache cream inside, delivering a rich flavor and an intense vanilla fragrance.

The ganache cream uses fresh milk from Hokkaido. By applying a special production technique during the mixing of white chocolate and fresh cream, the moisture is preserved to the extreme and the mixture is emulsified, resulting in an exceptionally smooth cream with a melt-in-the-mouth finish.

About Vanillage

Vanillage brand concept

Vanilla is a flavor everyone has known since childhood, yet few people have experienced its true aroma. Vanillage was founded with the idea of delivering a moment of supreme relaxation through the sweet scent of vanilla to those caught up in their busy daily lives. The brand offers a wide lineup that only a vanilla sweets specialist can provide.

Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla

Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans

The vanilla used by Vanillage is Madagascar Bourbon vanilla — produced in Madagascar and the surrounding islands. The name derives from what was once called the "Bourbon Islands," the region now known as Réunion (a French overseas department). The brand uses AMPIANA VANILLA, a Grade A product with beans over 16 cm long, grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and certified organic by the United States. It delivers the quintessential vanilla aroma: straightforwardly sweet and richly fragrant.

Social Contribution

School built through social contribution activities

A portion of Vanillage sales is donated to World Vision Japan (NPO). Schools have been built in five countries to date — Myanmar, Bangladesh, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia — and the brand continues to provide educational support funding for children in Asia and Africa.
