Sanrio Character Park Harmonyland (Hiji Town, Oita) will hold the Halloween event HARMONYLAND HALLOWEEN from September 18 (Friday) through November 10 (Tuesday), 2026. This year's theme, "Treat and Excite!," invites friends and family to spend uplifting time together in a sweet, adorable "candy world."

On a Halloween night, one bite of a mysterious lollipop pulls Hello Kitty into a candy-scented "candy world." Transformed into a sweet treat herself, she feels a spark of Halloween magic with every colorful candy she tries.
This year's HARMONYLAND HALLOWEEN fills that candy world with live shows, character greetings, food, and merchandise. The fan-favorite, highly interactive live show "Magical Masquerade – EXCITE!" returns with updated 2026 choreography and an even more unified stage experience, while a brand-new participatory show brings costumed characters together with guests for song and dance. The popular Parade Parallel also returns in a Halloween-limited version, alongside Halloween-only photo spots, costumed character greetings, a bingo game, and colorful Halloween food and merchandise available throughout the park.

Live Show "Magical Masquerade – EXCITE!" Returns with a Bigger, More Exciting Stage
The Halloween-exclusive live show "Magical Masquerade – EXCITE!" is back with choreography updated for 2026 and an even more unified stage experience. Hello Kitty and friends appear in glamorous masked costumes on a stage themed around a secret masquerade ball also visited by ghosts, and every guest in the audience can join in through call-and-response and dance in this highly participatory show. Tokyo Gegegay returns as overall supervisor, and voice actor Hiro Shimono returns to voice "Jack," a key character in the show.
Guests can join in wearing the limited-edition "Magical Masquerade Mask" and "Ring Light" merchandise, dancing and cheering alongside the characters for a Halloween live show found only at Harmonyland.

Tokyo Gegegay is an entertainment project led by singer, songwriter, composer, video artist, director, choreographer, and dancer MIKEY. The group has toured not only across Japan but also in North America, France, Switzerland, China, and Southeast Asia, and its works — created from MIKEY's distinctive worldview known as the "Kiteretsu Mental World" — have surpassed 100 million total views on YouTube.
Voice actor Hiro Shimono's major anime roles include Zenitsu Agatsuma in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Connie Springer in the Attack on Titan series, Sho Kurusu in the Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ series, Dabi in the My Hero Academia series, and Issa Kaburagi in the Yowamushi Pedal series, among many others. He is also active as a narrator.

A brand-new Halloween live show designed for guests of all ages, from children to adults, debuts this year. Characters in cute Halloween costumes take turns appearing each day, singing and dancing to music choreographed and directed by Tokyo Gegegay together with guests, filling the venue with Halloween fun. Friends and family can join in and enjoy this exciting, participatory live show together.

"Magical Masquerade Special Greeting"
A special greeting with the characters from "Magical Masquerade – EXCITE!" takes place at the Character Greeting Fan Studio. This is the only place to meet characters wearing their costumes from the limited-time live show, making for an especially memorable encounter.

HARMONYLAND HALLOWEEN Limited-Time Food Menu
This year's Halloween lineup includes limited-time menu items themed around candy and swirl motifs. The Harvest Table restaurant's popular "Kitty Curry" gets a Halloween makeover with a swirled sausage inspired by a lollipop candy and an event-original monaka wafer, and a new "Halloween Burger Plate" lets guests freely add the accompanying salad and hash browns to build their own burger. For dessert, a "Halloween Roll Cake Stick" combines three kinds of roll cake with popping candy, and a vivid "Halloween Cream Soda" pairs orange soda with grape jelly for a festive Halloween treat.
