A special event celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pompompurin is coming to Sanrio Character Park Harmonyland (Hiji Town, Oita Prefecture). The event, titled POMPOMPURIN 30th Anniversary, runs from Thursday, April 16 to Thursday, December 31, 2026, and features a range of exclusive content themed around the beloved golden retriever character.
Since his debut in 1996, Pompompurin has been cherished for his easygoing, at-his-own-pace personality. To mark his 30th anniversary, Harmonyland has put together a special lineup with a "party" concept — a celebration packed with content designed to make everyone smile.

POMPOMPURIN DINER Opens April 16 — Also Featuring Part of the "Pompompurin-sugiru yo Ten" Exhibition
POMPOMPURIN DINER is a dedicated dining spot inside Harmonyland where visitors can enjoy a meal alongside Pompompurin. The space is decorated from wall to table with Pompompurin motifs, making it a highly photo-worthy environment. Inside, Pompompurin and Muffin's voices and original music play throughout, creating an immersive atmosphere that feels like being at a party with the characters themselves.
A portion of the "Pompompurin-sugiru yo Ten" exhibition — also running at Sanrio Puroland from April 10 to December 31 — will appear at POMPOMPURIN DINER as well. With assistance from the team known from "Ii hito-sugiru yo Ten," Muffin and the rest of Team Purin have prepared a purin-filled display with heartfelt care.
The diner's menu features exclusive items made using products from local Hiji Town shop Suzuran Shokuhinkann. Among them is "Boku no Okiniiri: Torokeru Shifuku Purin," a smooth custard pudding based on Suzuran Shokuhinkann's popular "Namerakana Purin," reimagined in POMPOMPURIN DINER style — topped with custard cream, caramel bits, and two types of design chocolate. Another highlight is "Nikoniko: Egao no Shirushi (Plain Donut & Choco Donut Set)," made with Oita Prefecture rice flour and fresh eggs, packaged in an original Pompompurin box.

Pompompurin Greetings During "Pompompurin Days" (April 16–19)
During "Pompompurin Days" from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 19, visitors can meet Pompompurin in person through two special greetings. At the high-touch greeting, guests can celebrate directly with a high-five from Pompompurin.

Additionally, during the approximately 20-minute "Welcome Greeting" held at Harmony Village right after the park opens, Pompompurin will also make an appearance.
