The POMPOMPURIN 30th Anniversary event launched at Harmonyland (Hiji Town, Oita Prefecture) on April 16, 2026 — the very day of Pompompurin's birthday. Built around the concept of "party," the event brings a lineup of special content designed to celebrate the anniversary alongside fans through December 31, 2026.
April 16 marks a significant milestone: the 30th anniversary year for Pompompurin, and the event kicked off on his birthday itself. Guests at the park's opening day were greeted with festivities and anniversary content spread throughout the grounds.
POMPOMPURIN DINER: A Fully Immersive Themed Space
The centerpiece of the event is the newly opened POMPOMPURIN DINER. Every element inside — from the wallpaper and tables to individual light bulbs — is adorned with Pompompurin motifs, creating a colorful and pop-art world that guests can experience from any seat in the restaurant.
The diner also delivers an audio experience: special voice recordings from Pompompurin and his friend Muffin, along with 30th anniversary music, play throughout the space — giving visitors the feeling of sharing a meal alongside the characters.
A portion of "Pompompurin Sugiru yo Ten," an exhibition simultaneously held at Sanrio Puroland, is also on display inside the diner. Visitors commented that the exhibition deepens appreciation for the character's world. Every seat offers a photogenic backdrop, making the wait itself part of the experience.
First-Wave Anniversary Menu (Available Until July 23)
The first wave of anniversary menus includes hearty and visually appealing options. Guests on opening day noted that the dishes were "cute and genuinely filling." Two items in particular drew attention for using products from local Hiji Town shop Suzuran Shokuhinkan:

Pompompurin Day: 4-Day Limited Greeting Event (April 16–19)
From April 16 (Thu) to 19 (Sun), the special "Pompompurin Day" period runs at the park. During this time, Pompompurin appeared at both the "Odemukae Greeting" (welcome greeting) and the "Pompompurin Anniversary High-Touch Greeting." On April 16 — his birthday — guests filled the venue with cheers and birthday wishes.
