The Nanki Shirahama Marriott Hotel in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, is serving a seasonal limited dessert — the "Whole Peach Custard Parfait" — at its 1st-floor lounge from June 1 to August 31, 2026.

The parfait is topped with a fresh whole peach filled with rich custard cream, making the most of the fruit's natural juiciness from the very first bite. Layers of pearl craquelin and chocolate discs provide a delicate textural contrast, while chantilly cream, juicy peach compote, and rose hip jelly add an elegant depth of flavor beneath. Deeper in the glass, smooth blanc-manger and a gently tart raspberry sauce round out the entire dessert.

From July 14 to August 7, 2026, a special version of the parfait will be served using "Arakawa no Momo," a highly regarded peach variety from Wakayama Prefecture that is at its peak during this period.

The parfait is available during afternoon hours at the hotel's open and relaxing 1st-floor lounge, making it a perfect seasonal treat to enjoy on a summer day in Shirahama.
