TIFFANY & CO.'s Blue Box Café Celebrates First Anniversary With Summer Afternoon Tea From July 1

Tiffany is celebrating the first anniversary of Blue Box Café by Natsuko Shoji with a limited-time "1st Anniversary Afternoon Tea" and a seasonal dessert called "Peach Melba," both available from July 1 (Wednesday) to August 31 (Monday), 2026.

Blue Box Café by Natsuko Shoji opened in August 2025 as Tiffany's first Blue Box Café in Japan. The café is overseen by Chef Natsuko Shoji, who has earned wide acclaim both in Japan and abroad — including a double win for Best Pastry Chef and Best Female Chef at Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, and the Pastry & Bakery Opening of the Year Award for the café itself at the LA LISTE Pastry Special Awards 2026. The café brings together Tiffany's elegance and craftsmanship alongside Chef Shoji's originality.

A Summer Afternoon Tea Built Around Vivid Vegetables and Fruit

The anniversary afternoon tea showcases Chef Shoji's refined technique and delicate expression throughout an elaborate menu. For this milestone summer, the lineup draws on the rich flavors of Japanese summer vegetables and fruit, evoking the brightness of the season under a dazzling sun.

The stand includes a "Corn Sandwich" arranged in a precise, naturally inspired pattern, an "Edamame and Karasumi Tart" that recalls sunlight pouring over vivid summer greens, and "Young Corn and Prosciutto," which tucks cheese beneath specially prepared, lightly salted prosciutto. The chef's signature fruit tart uses juicy, sweet peach, complemented by a crisp sablé base and the pleasant tartness of strawberries and raspberries. A "Citrus Jelly," with three layers of glowing orange gradation, represents the range of colors, varieties, and flavors found in Japanese citrus, balancing sourness, bitterness, and sweetness for a refreshing summer taste.

Rounding out the sweets is a sorbet served waffle-cone style, evoking the ice cream stands of New York, with a Tiffany Blue cone cover as its signature touch. The sorbet combines the sweet-tart flavor of strawberry milk with rich vanilla for a refreshing bite.

The all-day dining menu also introduces "Peach Melba" as a seasonal dessert, pairing peach compote, rich vanilla ice cream, and a sweet-tart raspberry sauce for a dish that captures the brilliance of summer.

Anniversary Celebration Extends to a Specialty Drink

The celebration also marks the first anniversary of Tiffany Ginza, Asia's largest flagship store, and Tiffany is offering a special experience as a token of appreciation to customers. In the café's cool, comfortable space — a welcome escape from Tokyo's summer heat — a specialty drink supervised by Shingo Gokan, the bartender with the most wins across "The World's / Asia's / North America's 50 Best Bars," will be served alongside Chef Shoji's menu. The same drink will also be offered to all visitors to the store, not only café guests.
